The certificate has the following text: "Has demonstrated his expert qualification in the fine mysterious arts required by the many and varied aspects of spacecraft launch, support, orbital coverage, spacecraft reentry, location and recovery operations. He is therefore granted our express authorization to claim kindred spirit with thse brave and daring astronauts. And know ye all by these presents that the exalted individual cited herein is to be accorded all the rights and privileges customarily accorded such distinguished personages. Signed by P. S.
