About

Hello there, I'm Luis, originally from Argentina, and currently living in Berlin, Germany.
I always had a passion for space exploration and everything related to NASA. It all started during my childhood while looking at the stars and with an old book with a couple of images from Apollo 11. I found them fascinating, and I always thought of the astronauts walking on the Moon as I stared at our natural satellite. I still do, I have a special feeling for the Moon I can't explain.

When I was a teenager I used to write letters to NASA and they sent me lots of stuff. Books, pictures, posters, etc.. That got me more into it. However, life took me to different directions due to changing priorities and possibilities in Argentina.

Today I work as an illustrator either for animation studios, films or children's books and that is something that I love too, although the passion for space remained solid until this day.

In 2020 I realized I could start collecting some of the items I always wanted to have, and the first item of my collection was a smal piece of Kapton foil from the Command Module of Apollo 11. Today I have hundreds of items, but still with a few of the so-called Holy Grails of space memorabilia on my wish list. My main interest is the early manned space missions from the US. Mercury, Gemini and Apollo, the Space Shuttle and then, the Soviet/Russian space program.

Here on this blog I share what's in my collection, with some additional information about the missions or events related to the items I own.

It's always nice being in touch with fellow collectors, and if you have some duplicates, something else you'd like to sell, then please, don't hesitate to get in touch!
