Description: Lex L. Davis was the Commander, USS Ticonderoga's senior Chaplain who offered the prayer upon the arrival of the Apollo 16 crew. These documents in my collection comes with a letter signed by Davis, but not included here due to privacy reasons.

Item: Prayer of the Apollo 14 Recovery signed by chaplain Cecil R. Threadgill
Size: 18.4 x 26.6 cm.

Description: Cecil Raymond Threadgill (June 15, 1925 - August 9, 2007) was a minister, counselor. Ordained to ministry Southern Baptist Convention, 1946; licensed professional counselor, Oklahoma, Texas. Decorated Purple Heart. With United States Marine Corps Reserve, 1944-1946, PTO. Member American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (clinical). He was the chaplain aboad the USS New Orleans (LPH 11) during the Apollo 14 recovery mission, offering prayer during the ceremony.
