Description: this piece of concrete was ejected during the destruction of the launch pad for Starship's first test flight.
Post-launch photos showed damage to the concrete underneath the launch pad and to infrastructure at the launch site. SpaceX video showed debris shooting into the ocean nearly half a mile away, and residents within a radius of 6 miles (9.7 km) reported shaking and broken windows. The rocket exhaust scattered debris for hundreds of yards, leaving a crater under its launch mount, and dented the launch site's nearby inert storage tanks.

The launch pad was built without flame diverters or sound suppression systems, systems customarily used to prevent damage during liftoff.
This piece comes with a certificate of authenticity signed by Paul S. Mamakos.
